D.E. Carlyle Mazankowski
Carlyle was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018. Prior to his call, he completed his Articles with Allan S. Blott Q.C. Professional Corporation of Lawyers before continuing on with the firm as an associate. Carlyle obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. He previously completed his Honours Bachelor of Sport Management at Brock University, where he graduated with First Class Standing. Carlyle was also chosen as an intern at Nestlé Canada within their legal department before joining the firm in 2016.
Carlyle practices in the area of civil litigation, including personal injury torts such as slip and falls, commercial liability and motor vehicle accidents as well as overseeing the firm’s accident benefits claims department. Carlyle has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice as well as arbitrations at FSCO and LAT, and has appeared at mediations, examinations for discovery and civil motions court.
Carlyle is an avid hockey, golf and football fan and in his spare time, enjoys cooking and spending time with his girlfriend and their two dogs.
