Martindale-Hubble Av-Rating

The Martindale-Hubble rating consists of two parts. The first is the Legal Ability Rating (A) which takes into consideration the standard of professional ability in the area where the lawyer practices, the lawyer’s expertise and other professional qualifications. The second part of the Martindale-Hubble rating is the General Ethical Standards Rating which indicates a lawyer’s adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability and diligence. There is only one General Ethical Standards Rating, which is V –Very High.
